Education

It’s a known fact that there’s a lack of resources in game studios today -  especially in the case of competent game programmers, but also graphic artists, modelers and animators are needed. The goal of the joint education efforts in the region is to give quality game education in close co-operation with the companies and thus provide these resources for the game industry.

The educational organisations (LUT, KyAMK, EKAMI, KSAO)  in the region offer game development studies in all three different levels.  The software & tools used in the game education are the same as used in the game studios. These tools are also available in the LevelUp -development environment. This makes it easy for students to move on from their studies to game business.
